About PraecisDx

At PraecisDx, our primary mission is to spearhead antibiotic stewardship at the point of care, delivering innovative solutions that make a real difference.

Our Approach

We specialize in harnessing both established and cutting-edge technologies, seamlessly integrating them to produce laboratory-quality results right within your veterinary practice. The best part? Our tests are designed with simplicity in mind, requiring no prior laboratory experience. They can be easily administered by any member of your practice’s staff.

Swift and Accurate Testing

Our tests offer remarkable efficiency, with turnaround times ranging from as little as 1 to 40 minutes, depending on the specific test.

Our Current Test Portfolio

  • LAMP-Mini – UTI Test for Cats and Dogs (40 Minutes) Quickly and accurately diagnose urinary tract infections in your beloved pets. LAMP-Mini not only provides results within 40 minutes but also identifies the specific bacterial species responsible. This invaluable tool helps eliminate the unnecessary use of prophylactic antibiotics and is an excellent rule-out test. Learn more about UTI testing
  • Lu-Mini – Biomarker Tests for Various Conditions (10 Minutes Each) Our Lu-Mini series offers biomarker tests for a variety of health conditions. Presently, we offer tests for C-reactive protein, haptoglobin, and procalcitonin, each delivering results in just 10 minutes. We are continually expanding our test offerings, so please reach out to us if you have specific biomarkers in mind. Learn more about Biomarker testing

Indications for Testing

Our tests find utility in diagnosing a range of conditions, including inflammatory conditions, cancer, cardiac issues, and helping guide antibiotic stewardship by distinguishing between infectious and non-infectious inflammation using blood samples. Additionally, we are actively developing non-invasive methods for measuring acute-phase proteins (APPs) in faeces and urine.

Point of Care

All of our tests are designed for ease of use and will be available as point-of-care options suitable for in-clinic use by personnel without prior laboratory experience.
